Coatema concludes contracts at Arabplast 09

3 February 2009, Dormagen – Coating and laminating machinery specialist Coatema, exhibited for the first time at the recent Arabplast09 in Dubai and said today that the show was a great success, although the financial crisis has hit the Middle East quite strongly. The company said it had showed and shared its deep experience in coating and laminating and was happy to announce that it had concluded two contracts for coating and laminating machines at the fair.

Coatema says it is experiencing an increase in the use of coated products for all different types of products and that the development of satisfactory coating technologies and the ideal treatment and handling of materials are a challenge to its mechanical engineering prowess .

Coatema develops bespoke coating machinery solutions for its individual customers products. Every machine is a unique solution because of the great variety of substrates utilised as well as coating chemistry applied. The company is able to handle any type of substrate from roll to roll and uses a wide range of chemicals as coating materials, including:

Solvent or water based epoxy resins

Powder like materials

Hotmelt resin

Phenol systems

Polyester/vinyl ester/acrylic resin systems

Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH is a mechanical engineering company for coating and laminating plants for roll to roll applications and welcomes discussion on future developments and projects at any time. Coatema has been delivering solutions for a variety of markets such as textile, foil, paper and renewable energies. These solutions may consist of small lab coating plants, pilot plants and turn-key production plants for the coating and laminating of roll-to-roll substrates.
