MTEX Solutions reveals two new printers in Frankfurt

MTEX is a leader in digital textile printing, and its new printers follow the market leading 3.2m wide MTEX 5032 and MTEX 5032Pro.

MTEX Solutions will reveal two new direct-to-textile printers at Viscom Frankfurt that takes place this week from 5-7 November. These include the MTEX Vision aimed at the transfer print market and the MTEX Blue entry level direct-to-textile digital printer.

MTEX is a leader in digital textile printing, and its new printers follow the market leading 3.2m wide MTEX 5032 and MTEX 5032Pro, and the pre and post fabric treatment machines launched at FESPA earlier this year.

Visitors to Viscom will be able to see the MTEX 5032Pro in action during the show. The MTEX Vision is available now and can be seen at MTEX Technical Training Centre in Porto, Portugal, and the MTEX Blue will be available for shipping from January 2015.

Exciting levels of growth

“The direct-to-textile print market is showing exciting levels of growth, and it’s becoming even more accessible, delivering really innovative new applications in an easy all-in-one process,” said Eloi Ferreira, CEO of MTEX.

“The last couple of years have been very exciting for us with the launch of the new MTEX 5032 and 5032Pro, and the MTEX Steamer, MTEX Pad coater and MTEX W&D wash and dry machine for complete, integrated digital textile printing solutions. We hope that the introduction of the new Vision and Blue will give us another great start to 2015.”

MTEX Vision

The MTEX Vision is aimed at the transfer print market and offers direct printing onto stretch fabrics with excellent and vibrant colours, and deep dense blacks, the company reports.

Available with pigment ink set for poly cotton/natural fibre fabrics and direct disperse inks for polyester, this 1.85m wide machine involves no paper, provides print and fix as one process, and has four colour or eight colour options, Ricoh Gen 5 print heads, up to 1200 dpi, and an adhesive belt carrier system for stretch fabrics.

The printer also has built-in heated drums calendars for fixation of ink, two litre bulk ink tanks, ink pump system with full de-gassing and a MTEX RIP with integrated touchscreen controls.

MTEX Blue

The MTEX Blue is an entry level direct-to-textile digital printer with in-built fixation. It is aimed at the graphic display and apparel markets and companies wishing to enter the digital textile print market with a professional one-step solution.

The printer is 1.6m wide, with Epson DX 7 heads, 1440 dpi, and four colour Blue Magenta Yellow Black. It also offers a two litre bulk ink system, direct disperse ink, as well as the MTEX RIP system.

MTEX 5032Pro

The MTEX 5032 Pro is a second-generation version of the popular MTEX 5032 3.2m wide textile printer.

There is a new integrated platform on this PRO model as well as a new feeding and take up system, which uses compressed air. There is also a new continuous ink feeding system.

This high-quality sublimation printing solution is said to deliver brilliant and vivid colours for applications such as light boxes, home textile decoration, decotex, flags, sun blinds, window fashion and automotive.
