The international outdoor industry is looking forward to the 22nd edition of OutDoor trade show that takes place at Lake Constance in Friedrichshafen, from 15-18 July 2015.

Based on advance registrations, this year’s show is guaranteed, once again, to bring the renowned OutDoor spirit to Messe Friedrichshafen, organisers report. More than 900 exhibitors from over 40 countries are inviting trade visitors to accompany them on expedition through the worldwide market for outdoor products and services.

“The 22nd OutDoor will see sure-footed, strong teams and a new schedule,” commented Klaus Wellmann, CEO Messe Friedrichshafen.

New schedule

Wednesday to Saturday – is the new OutDoor schedule. This means that the leading trade show is being brought forward by one day from 2015 onwards.

“We’re convinced that offering an additional week day is better for just about everybody. The OutDoor is an international event and, as such, conforms to international business practices,” said Stefan Reisinger Head of OutDoor, explaining the decision, which was made together with partners from the European Outdoor Group (EOG).

Important platform

The OutDoor has established itself as an important platform for numerous product innovations for thousands of trade visitors and media representatives.

In 2015 visitors will also see an international panel of experts awarding the OutDoor Industry Award quality seal to products that represent outstanding innovation and design quality.

In addition, the supporting programme includes informative presentations at the OutDoor Conferences and the final of the DAV German Bouldering Championships (Deutsche Bouldermeisterschaft), organised by the German Alpine Association (DAV).
