While additional textile functions aren’t often immediately noticeable in garments, the latest development from Outlast Technologies provides an effect that can be instantly felt by the wearer.

When wearing a Fresh2SKIN treated item, the cold receptors of the human skin are directly activated to provide an immediately refreshing sensation.

Fresh2SKIN can be integrated into existing programnes and production processes in a very simple and uncomplicated way and can be applied to a variety of different natural and synthetic fabrics.

In addition to the cooling effect, Outlast has integrated its proven proactive heat and moisture regulation system consisting of a natural wax based on rapeseed oil into fresh2SKIN. This acts as a buffer to heat peaks in order to delay sweat production and enhance a feeling of well-being.

The resulting cooling and heat-regulating textiles are characterised by a pleasant soft handle, excellent hydrophilic properties and very good wash resistance. If required, they can be supplemented with antibacterial properties.

In general, fresh2SKIN is particularly suitable for large programmes in the field of active leisure or sportswear, casual wear and underwear, as well as for selected for selected textile products in the bedding sector.

Fresh2SKIN is dermatologically tested and complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100. In combination with a recycled carrier material, it meets all the requirements for a sustainable and highly functional product with real benefit.
