Atlas Material Testing Technology, a leading German company in the field of material testing, will be presenting the test instruments Xenotest 440 and Ci3000+ Weather-Ometer at the ITMA machinery exhibition that takes place in Milan next month.
Both instruments can be operated with a TFT colour touchscreen display featuring 12 languages and are particularly well-suited for weathering of clothing, geo-textiles and technical textiles, according to the manufacturer.
Xenotest 440
Xenotest 440 has an additional xenon lamp for a higher irradiation intensity and allows material testing according to standards like AATCC TM 16, TM 169, as well as ISO 105-B02, -B04 and -B10.
The innovative control technology XenoLogic is designed to ensure uniform application and an extended lamp service life – thus reducing operating and maintenance costs. The water-saving ultrasonic humidification system distributes moisture optimally across the large test area with a size of 2,310m3, the company reports.
Ci3000+ Weather-Ometer
The Ci3000+ Weather-Ometer has a 4,500 watt xenon arc lamp to comply with relevant textile testing standards, such as ASTM D4355 and is said to deliver a high test output with up to 60 textile sample positions, according to the manufacturer.
