Bonar & Natpet install nonwovens line in Saudi Arabia
Bonar & Natpet have announced the purchase of their first nonwoven production line to be installed early 2012, in their Joint Venture plant, at a site near to NATPET's polypropylene production facility in Yanbu, in western Saudi Arabia. The state of the art six metre working width line will be delivered by Asselin-Thibeau and will include among its carding and needling equipment, the IsoProDyn and A.C.S technologies. Bonar & Natpet have announced the purchase of their first nonwoven production line to be installed early 2012, in their Joint Venture plant, at a site near to NATPET's polypropylene production facility in Yanbu, in western Saudi Arabia.
The state of the art six metre working width line will be delivered by Asselin-Thibeau and will include among its carding and needling equipment, the IsoProDyn and A.C.S technologies.
Bonar Technical Fabrics is a world leading producer of geotextile fabrics, woven and nonwoven, with production facilities in Belgium, Hungary, China and KSA. This will be their fourth line with Asselin-Thibeau ProDyn system.
National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet) is a leading company in Saudi Arabia with a brand new polypropopylene production facility in Yanbu and is a subsidiary of Alujain Corporation, an Investment company involved in major industrial projects in the petrochemicals, mining, metals and energy sectors in KSA.
Production of geotextiles for the civil engineering markets in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent is expected to start mid 2012.
