Warp Knitting machine building leader Karl Mayer will exhibit at the  German Pavillion (stand W5 F67+72) at the upcoming CINTE Techtextil, Messe Frankfurt’s Chinese version of the well established Techtextil technical textiles exhibition. The show is scheduled to run from 19-21 October in Shanghai.

Karl Mayer will exhibit a specially selected range of fabrics and provide information via a competent team of advisors, sales personnel and technicians. Visitors to the stand will also be looked after by Karl Mayer’s regional representative Illies.

The focal point of the exhibition for Karl Mayer will be the products of its subsidiary Karl Mayer Malimo and strong interest is anticipated in the company’s RS MSUS-V machines for the production of geotextiles. Karl Mayer Malimo’s web raschel machines will insert high-tenacity load-absorbing yarns in a nonwoven assembly both in the course and the wale directions, thus creating multifunctional textiles for highway engineering, for example.

Karl Mayer says, a further guarantee for its success is the new Weftronic RS machine. This innovative magazine-weft insertion raschel machine is based on a modern technical platform and has a working width of 268 inches. Textiles of 6.8 metres width can be produced which Karl Mayer says is an ideal format for use as coated fabrics for the advertising sector.

Further themes of the Karl Mayer Malimo stand will be samples from the company’s Maliwatt and Malivlies machines which are mainly used in the automotive sector and as interlinings in the shoe industry. In the warp preparation area Karl Mayer will present itself as the complete supplier of high-quality and efficient machine technology. The Opt-O-Matic section warping machine and the BM beaming machine in particular will be available for the processing of industrial yarns. “On the whole a varied exhibition schedule which once more backs up the promise of quality denoted by the slogan 'Made in Germany' from the joint German stand,” a spokesperson for the company said today.
