The nomination process is now open for the second annual RISE Durable Product Award that will be presented at the Research, Innovation & Science for Engineered Fabrics (RISE) Conference in October.
The RISE Durable Product Award will be awarded to a durable nonwoven product using nonwoven fabric and/or technology that is commercially sold and utilized in the consumer or industrial marketplace. It will be presented at RISE 2012, which will take place from October 22-25 at the Hilton Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland.
RISE is organized by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry. Now in its third year, the goal of RISE is to provide information and stimulation for both durables and disposables companies looking for strategies to compete in an increasingly challenging 21st century marketplace.
Nominations for the RISE Durable Product Award must be received by July 13. A nomination form is available here.
Categories such as raw material, roll goods, converting, packaging, active ingredients, binders, additives and end product will be considered for nominations. The finalists for the RISE Durable Product Award will present their innovation to the industry during RISE 2012 and the winner will be selected by RISE attendees and announced on October 25.
The target audience for the annual RISE Conference ranges from product managers and technical sales and marketing executives to product engineers, purchasing managers and research engineers at both consumer and industrial products companies.
