Ahlstrom Chairman quits due to ill health

Robin Ahlström has announced his resignation from the position of Chairman and member of the Board due to serious illness.

The Board of Directors of Ahlstrom Corporation has elected Panu Routila as Chairman of the Board as of 26 January 2015. He will also become a member of the Shareholders’ Nomination Board, and he has been elected member of the Human Resources Committee.

Excellent contribution

“We would like to warmly thank Robin Ahlström for his dedication and excellent contribution to Ahlstrom. He has served on the Board of Ahlstrom, as Chairman, Vice Chairman and as a Board member,” said Panu Routila.

As of today, there will be six members on the Board of Directors of Ahlstrom. The term of the Board of Directors will expire at the close of the next Annual General Meeting.
