Technical textiles specialist, Arville, has further added to its fast-growing success with the acquisition of Delta Filter Services Ltd. The business, its equipment, order book and customers have been incorporated to Arville’s existing fabrication business unit in Bradford.
Andy Smith, group head of marketing for Wetherby-headquartered Arville, said: “We are delighted to announce this acquisition and welcome the team from Delta to the Arville family. This is an exciting new chapter for all of us.”
“Our new colleagues’ knowledge and expertise will strengthen our portfolio, and enhance our capability, in the area of industrial filtration products – used in a wide range of sectors and applications.
“Together, we are a very good fit and Delta’s projects and markets complement our existing work in this area.”
Andy continued: “This latest acquisition is part of the ongoing growth of our group of companies, as we work towards a goal of growing output and sales.”
“Our strategic aim is to position Arville as a ‘best-in-class’ specialist in the design, weaving, finishing, coating and fabrication of technical textiles.”

Delta Filter Services dates back 25 years in the field of high-quality replacement filter products – notably anti-bacterial air socks, fabric dust filters and cartridge filters – for sectors including food and pharmaceutical.
This year, Arville has already boosted its fabric engineering capabilities with a suite of new weaving looms and a warping machine worth over £1.2m in total. The firm has also achieved successive double-digit year-on-year growth.
Previous acquisitions for the group have included The Multiple Fabric Company in 1997 and P&S Textiles in 2000.
Arville started out weaving woollen uniforms for the public sector in the 1950s. The company achieved the prestigious ISO 14001 certification in 2018, for its commitment to the highest environmental standards in its work.
