Italian seamless garment manufacturer Cifra has signed a contract with Milen, a South Korean retailer of eco products, for the distribution in South Korea of its Doubleskin beauty and sports apparel brand under the name Vivere, Made In Italy.
Milen owns a chain of more than 500 stores across South Korea and the official launch date for Vivere will be 15 September 2015.
Cifra owner and CEO Cesare Citterio commented on the deal: “ Cifra is very happy to conclude this contract with South Korea’s leading eco-retailer and we look forward to launching Vivere in September with Milen.”
“Vivere will be a line with over 20 different styles including leggings and long and short sleeve tops for both for men and woman.”
The new Vivere line garments will be manufactured at Cifra’s Milan warp knitting seamless plant using yarns made from 81% Emana and 19% Lycra.
Emana is Solvay’s polyamide 6.6-based smart yarn with a far infrared technology that claims to transform the human body heat in benefits to skin care. Thanks to bioactive minerals embedded in the yarn, Emana is said to absorb the body heat and emanate far infrared rays back to the skin offering thermo-regulation properties and improving blood micro-circulation.
Cifra launched its Doubleskin brand of beauty and sports apparel in 2012. It combines the Milan based company’s seamless warp knitting technology with Emana. Citra’s warp knitting seamless (WKS) technology allows the creation of garments which have no uncomfortable seams where the garment comes in contact with the skin – both on upper body and legs. Doubleskin seamless garments are both soft to the touch and allow total freedom of movement.
