Formax appoints automotive business manager

Formax, a leading global manufacturer of carbon fibre and speciality composite reinforcements, has appointed Dan Norton to manage the company’s Automotive Business Sector.

Formax, a leading global manufacturer of carbon fibre and speciality composite reinforcements, has appointed Dan Norton to manage the company’s Automotive Business Sector.

Previously employed at Sigmatex High Technology Fabrics, Dan has undertaken a range of development programmes for a number of international automotive OEM’s. He brings a wealth of experience to the role including supply chain management, product development and strategic planning.

Under Dan’s direction, Formax’s Automotive Business Sector will continue to target Tier 1 manufacturers with a strong focus on the delivery of Class A surface finishes and structural performance. 

In addition to Tier 1 manufacturers, Formax will be extending its capabilities to encompass a range of transportation sectors including passenger and heavy goods vehicles and rail customers.
