Five companies from the Freudenberg Group, one of the world's largest producers of nonwovens with 22 manufacturing and processing sites in 13 countries, will join forces to present their integrated nonwovens and filtration solutions to industry professionals in Korea at this year’s ANEX show.

At the ANEX (Asia Nonwoven Exhibiton and Conference) in Seoul, South Korea, which is being held between 13-15 June 2012, visitors to Freudenberg’s stand will have the chance to share the combined knowledge of five of the world’s leading providers of nonwovens and filtration solutions: Japan Vilene Company, Korea Filtration Technologies, Korea Vilene Company, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies and Freudenberg Nonwovens.

Held once every three years, ANEX has become one of the most important trade fairs for the nonwovens industry since its launch in 2000. In a new move, the five companies have chosen to present their products and services in a way that focuses on how they combine their specialist expertise to provide individually customized local solutions for global markets.

Clear benefits

The Freudenberg stand will be divided into four segments, surrounding a central ‘innovation zone’ and each segment will focus on examples of holistic solutions that the five companies have created in the fields of health, environment, comfort and industry.

According to Freudenberg, the solutions are then put into context in the ‘success stories’ zone, showing how they have delivered specific customer value in each segment, e.g. the development of PAP/Transdermal base material for the health sector, environmentally friendly Ni-MH battery separators, new materials for cable wrapping, and major engineering projects and turbo machinery filter solutions.

Visitors to the Freudenberg stand will also be able to talk to leading technology experts as they explore a variety of advanced products and services. These, the company says, include nonwovens for the very latest nanotechnology, Nanofiber Materials for cell Culture, Li-Ion battery separators, automotive carpets and Nano filter bags, as well as a comprehensive range of EPA and HEPA filters.

Freudenberg manufactures interlinings for the apparel industry and nonwovens for energy, automotive interiors, hygiene, medical, building interiors, geotextiles and specialites. In 2011, the subgroup company Freudenberg Nonwovens, generated sales of over 660 million Euros with a workforce of 3150.
