Techtextil North America develops educational programme on latest technologies

Techtextil North America heads back to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta for its 13th edition that is set to take place from 3-5 May 2016. Industry experts will gather together to divulge what industry advancements have been discovered in the field of technical textiles.

In conjunction with the trade show floor activities, the highly acclaimed World-Class Symposium will run ten sessions over three days with educational presentations given by top industry presenters.

Symposium programme

The 2016 Symposium programme will be developed together with leading industry experts to provide exciting and timely new topics in a variety of formats. These educational sessions will give visitors and exhibitors alike the opportunity to engage and gain new knowledge about upcoming advancements in their application field.

Advisory Council Board Members selected to facilitate World-Class Symposium include Behnam Pourdeyhimi, The Nonwovens Institute, Mike Clements, Huesker, Sam Buff, Textile Technology Center at Gaston College, Dr Anselm C. Griffin, Georgia Institute of Technology, Bipin Kumar, UC Davis, and Marc Shellshear, Gale Pacific.

Techtextil North America

Techtextil North America is again co-located on one show floor together with Texprocess Americas and JEC Americas. Having these three dynamic shows connected will provide visitors with a vast array of products and solutions from areas in technical textiles, durable nonwovens, sewn product equipment, software, geosynthetics, and composites, organisers report.

The exhibition assembles all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry – from research and development, through raw materials and production processes and finally ending in conversion, further treatment and recycling.
