clim8, the France based intelligent thermal technology company has announced a new partnership with Innovation in Performance (IiP) for its European business development activities. The news comes in addition to the registration of the clim8 trademark in the United States with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark office) clearly showing the company’s international ambition.
The French company, created in 2016, launched a disruptive patented thermal technology already used by premium brands such as The North Face, Odlo, Ixon, Gore and Burton. In order to accelerate its activities in Europe and target new industries, clim8 will now count on Marcus Hoenig (former Chief Commercial Officer at D3O), Alex Yellowley (former Business Development Manager at D3O) and their agency in developing and executing partnership strategy in collaboration with the clim8 Executive team.
“clim8 really are breaking ground with their intelligent thermal technologies,”, Alex Yellowley, Business Development Director at IiP. “This is why we’re super excited to partner up with the team behind it to help continue building on their success as the market-leading innovators, extending their reach into the markets we know well.”
Florian Miguet, CEO of clim8 states: “Marcus and Alex have been key contributors to the development of innovative ingredient brands. We are thrilled to have them officially joining the clim8 Team. Together, we will deliver game changing products to help people to enjoy their ride, activity, mission by outsmarting the elements.”
Founded in 2016, in Lyon, France, clim8 aims to leverage its technological and scientific expertise to build the next generation of active-response thermal clothing. Awarded in 2019 at CES Las Vegas and ISPO, its patented and patent-pending and proprietary technologies monitor, analyse, activate, and regulate users’ skin temperature thanks to smart clothing applications. The platform empowered by a mobile app and IA provides the most advance and personal heat regulation technology on the market.
