At the 2022 annual conference of the International Textile Machinery Federation (ITMF) which was held in Davos, Switzerland, from September 18-20, ten companies were presented with Sustainability and Innovation awards.
The awards recognise achievements in the textile industry with a focus on innovation, design, development and production under the strictest standards of sustainability and respect for the environment.
The companies awarded were:
- Cathay Biotech with Donghua University (China)
- Far Eastern New Century Corporation (Taiwan)
- Gama Recycle Sustainable Technologies (Turkey)
- Grupo Malwee (Brazil)
- Lenzing AG (Austria)
- Mahmood Group (Pakistan)
- PSG College of Technology (India)
- Recover (Spain)
- Sedo Engineering (Switzerland)
- The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (China)
In addition, a number of companies, parterships and organisations received ITMF International Cooperation awards according to the values of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
They were:

- Säntis Textiles (Singapore) and Kipas (Turkey)
