The 2022 New Silk Road Story Exchange·Keqiao Forum and the 5th World Textile Merchandising Conference will be held in the Keqiao District of Shaoxing City in Zhejiang, China, from November 15-20.
This was announced at a press conference in Haoxing on November 3rd.
Nearly a quarter of the world’s light textile fabrics have been traded in the Keqiao District every year and annual textile export volumes have exceeded 100 billion yuan. In the past, the trading has involved 192 countries and regions.
The 2022 New Silk Road Story Exchange·Keqiao Forum will be composed of a main forum and three sub-forums. Nearly 100 participants including ministry officials, business leaders, media executives and researchers are expected to gather in Shaoxing City to share information on the progress of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
The 5th World Textile Merchandising Conference and related activities including Keqiao Fashion Week will be held in parallel, along with the 30th Anniversary Merit Award of China Textile City.
