The trade association Composites Germany invites applicants to submit their presentation papers for the first International Composites Congress (ICC), which will take place at the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart from 21-22 September 2015.
The new Composites Germany Congress replaces the International AVK Conference and is thus the new prelude to the European trade fair Composites Europe, which is set to take place from 22-24 September 2015, organisers report.
Becoming key industry
Presentations should provide information about innovations in the area of fibre reinforced plastics/composites, and be submitted to the Composites Germany office by 31 March 2015.
Presentations are requested on the following themes under the guiding title Composites - On the Path to Becoming a Key Industry?
- Efficient processes / Integrative production technology
- Cooperations (industry-research, industry-industry)
- Market transparency / Data
- Outstandingly qualified employees (training, professional development)
- Responsible care (sustainability, recycling)
- Standardisation
Composites Germany
The Composites Germany trade association is formed by four leading German fibre composite industry expert organisations, aiming to strengthen the German composite industry, particularly in the field of research, determine common positions, and take overlapping interests into account.
The four members include AVK – Federation of Reinforced Plastics, Carbon Composites, CFK Valley Stade, and VDMA Forum Composite Technology. The companies are joining their efforts to further the future oriented themes of high performance composites and automated production technology, which are particularly relevant in Germany.
