Bally Ribbon Mills (BRM), an industry leader in the design, development, and manufacture of highly specialized engineered woven fabrics, will showcase its high-quality, high-performance webbing at the Industrial Fabrics Association Virtual Expo (IFAI) 2020 taking place from 2-11 November 2020. Visitors can connect with BRM experts through a virtual booth via text chat and video conferencing to discuss the company’s new tapes, webbings and specialty textiles, including high-performance webbings, e-webbings and other narrow fabrics.
“Using its decades of weaving expertise, BRM designs, engineers, and manufactures materials that maximize the end products’ performance characteristics and properties – including durability, resistance to abrasion, chemicals, heat and weather,” BRM says. “Compared to steel and aluminum materials, a strong and lightweight webbing reduces material costs, lowers fuel use, and increases safety. Custom engineered designs and special manufacturing processes can be modified to meet end user needs,” the company adds.
In addition to these offerings, Bally Ribbon Mills is a leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of high-quality specialty fabrics, including e-textiles such as BRM’s engineered E-Webbings product line. Experts will discuss the E-Webbings product line at IFAI 2020.
“BRM experts will also discuss the company’s narrow fabrics made with composite materials. These products are standard dimension tapes and webbings that are composed of inherently different fibre materials. They are designed to utilize the unique properties of each component material to create a material that has superior properties, with the potential to reduce bill-of-materials and costs of manufacturing processes in a wide range of applications,” BRM concludes.
