Technical Fibre Products

Technical Fibre Products is a leading nonwoven manufacturer, offering a broad range of high quality, technically advanced nonwovens, which can be customised to meet specific application requirements.

This range of nonwovens includes carbon, aramid, glass, thermoplastic and metal coated nonwovens, the fibres for the latter being produced in-house at EFT. A variety of applications include acting as a lightweight adhesive carrier or delivering a high quality surface finish in composites whilst conferring additional functionality, such as EMI shielding, electrical conductivity and abrasion resistance.

TFP’s materials can deliver effective passive fire protection, as well as offering solutions for power generation and thermal insulation, the company reports. TFP have also recently extended their capability to include lamination, enabling TFP to add value through bonding of multi-layer structures, powder addition and compression.
