Textiles Intelligence and the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) have agreed to cooperate in making Chinese language editions of two of Textile Intelligence’s business and market information publications available to the Chinese fibre, textile and clothing industries.

CNTAC’s aim in cooperating with Textiles Intelligence is to provide the Chinese industry with high quality information to enable Chinese companies to develop and compete internationally in the global technical textile and performance apparel sectors and identify potential partners in Western developed economies with a view to future collaboration.

Textiles Intelligence was chosen by CNTAC as its partner in recognition of the company’s reliability and excellent reputation for delivering well researched industry analysis, expert insight and unbiased strategic commentary on the entire textile supply chain.

When making the announcement, Robin Anson said: “For 27 years, we have been supplying the highest quality business information and analysis in the English language to help companies and other organisations around the world to plan their strategy and growth in what is an increasingly competitive environment. Now we feel that the time is right to share some of this information with enterprises in China as the Chinese industry responds to rising costs by shifting increasingly to the manufacture of increasingly sophisticated products offering higher added value”.

The two publications which CNTAC has selected for publication in Chinese language editions are Technical Textile Markets and Performance Apparel Markets. The reports in these publications provide analyses of markets for technical and industrial fibres and fabrics, performance apparel fibres and fabrics and nonwovens, as well as end use applications for these materials and company profiles.

Robin Anson is recognised as a leading worldwide authority on textile and clothing industry strategy and trade issues. He is also the editorial director of Textiles Intelligence, the world’s leading provider of global business information on the international textile and apparel industries.

Cinte Techtextil China was organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA).
