Hyosung will introduce its latest sustainable and performance-driven textile innovations at Performance Days Munich from 5-6 March, where it will exhibit its Creora functional and regen sustainable elastane, nylon, and polyester materials at booth L17.

“Sustainable strategies vary widely among brands – whether it is recycled, bio-based or recyclable, so it’s important to provide solutions to meet their individual needs,” said Claire O’Neill, Hyosung TNC director of European brand marketing.

Hyosung has expanded its regen BIO Elastane range to include regen BIO+ and regen BIO Max, offering higher renewable resource content. The company pioneered the commercial introduction of USDA and SGS-certified regen Bio-Based Elastane, made with 30% renewable resources, which has been adopted by leading global brands such as Pangaia, Icebreaker, Silver Sea Apparel, and Van Harvey.

To meet consumer demand for sustainable apparel with performance benefits, Hyosung has incorporated multi-functional properties into its certified 100% recycled Elastane, Nylon, and Polyester fibres. These materials offer attributes such as cooling, warming, and anti-odour properties, while maintaining a natural touch. The company will also showcase its GRS-certified, 100% post-consumer recycled regen Ocean Nylon, made from discarded fishing nets.

Further advancing circularity, Hyosung has partnered with Ambercycle, a leading material science company, to introduce circular polyester made from end-of-life textiles into supply chains.

Among the performance highlights at Performance Days, Hyosung will present:

- Creora Color+ Elastane, which enhances dyeability with nylon and natural fibres while preventing grin-through

- Creora EasyFlex Elastane, offering a soft feel, long-lasting fit, and size inclusivity

- Creora Coolwave Nylon, delivering long-lasting cooling and moisture absorption 1.5 times faster than conventional nylon

- Creora Conadu Polyester, a mechanical stretch fibre providing a cotton-like texture with excellent elasticity and recovery

Hyosung’s Fashion Design Center has developed an extensive range of fabrics and concept garments featuring its innovative yarns, which will be prominently displayed at its booth.
