Mystery Ranch will debut Cordura re/cor RN66 in its Autumn 2022 new product line-up.

For over 20 years, Mystery Ranch, headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, has been developing load carriage equipment for elite military, wildland firefighters and mountain professionals. This August, it will unveil the District Series range of everyday carry bags and packs made with Cordura re/cor fabric.

Nylon 6.6 challenges the throw-away mentality within the textile industry, making it easier for consumers to understand how one ingredient and quality craftmanship can extend life for gear and apparel, says Cordura.

“Our company partnership with Cordura has a long and special history, but the launch of the District Series heralds a new chapter in our brand story and our focus on design and innovation,” said Mystery Ranch president Alex Kutches. “With Cordura re/cor we are able to remain committed to product quality and durability and introduce our first line of packs made from fully recycled materials.”

“We make it a priority to continually bring new ideas and products to our brand and retail partners,” added Cordura business development director Cindy McNaull. “At Cordura, we believe that sustainability begins with products that last and Mystery Ranch operates from the same value set.”

Compared to virgin nylon 6.6, the production of Cordura re/cor RN66 decreases greenhouse gas emissions by 83%, consumes 82% less energy, and uses 57% less water. It is made from 100% pre-consumer fibre that is 100% GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified.
