Schoeller, a Swiss producer of highly functional fabrics and textile technologies, has introduced its  2015/16 Schoeller Collection, that is dominated by prints, sophisticated fabrics, 3D textile structures and washable wool blends.

Sportswear becomes even more fashionable and fashion more functional, the company reports. In the colours of the forest, the world of science fiction or classic street wear, the universal functional fabrics are suited for different kind of outfits, according to designers.

Printed mystery

Things will be colourful, mystic and spacey in winter 2015/16, Schoeller reports, such as forest camouflage blend on three-dimensional schoeller-spirit spacer fabrics with traditional glen checks.

Cosily warm schoeller-WB-400 soft shell qualities with printed inner and outer sides catch the eye both on the ski slopes or on a stroll through the city and can be combined with the matching plain colours.

 Whether as an animal print in earthy shades or a tree trunk motif in warm tones of brown and red on the inner fleece and the same print on the matching pants weight –  sophisticated prints are the major theme in the new Schoeller fabric collection.

New classics

The classic look is interpreted anew and looks refreshingly young and dynamic, according to the company.

For example, the vibrant red schoeller-WB-formula jacket fabrics with a matching, printed multicolour forest pattern on the reverse, in which a c_change climate membrane is said to provide additional wind and weather protection.

The hard-wearing schoeller-prestige fabric, originally developed for equestrian sports, has a camouflage print in a high tech brown or as a matte double face with stylish jeans print.

Embossed fantasy

Sportswear has become increasingly fashionable and function has been steadily making its way into the fashion world.

In the elegantly embossed schoeller-shape golf pants weights with a snakeskin look or geometric rhombus structure in berry shades, you are still perfectly dressed for the ensuing aperitif. The schoeller-spirit jacket fabrics with c_changeTM climate membrane or the bonded schoeller-WB-400 cotton fabrics with ecorepel looks are featured in the collection.

3D structure

The 3D fabric structure is said to provide new looks, for example on pleasantly warm schoeller-WB-400 soft shells with herringbone design in dazzling turquoise or as a rhombus look in Bordeaux red with a contrasting royal blue reverse.

A very futuristic and technical look is also captured in the abrasion-proof schoeller-dynamic 3D ripstop in vibrant red with effect yarn. Inspiration for experimental ideas continues with the unusual schoeller-spirit spacer three dimensional fabric in rich colours.

Functional wool

The functional Warm Fabrics and Cool Fabrics from Schoeller lend warming and cooling properties to, among other fabrics, various washable schoeller-shape wools in plain colours or mélange.

Washable schoeller-naturetec wool qualities crop up frequently and set colour accents; be it as winter versions with ministructure in turquoise, in summery fresh reddish orange shades or with fabrics furnished with the addition to the ecological high-tech ecorepel finish.
