Fabric printing
Today, Aurora’s Director of Marketing for Print Media, Mark Shaneyfelt, will discuss Profitable Trends in Fabric Printing.
In this comprehensive review of textile market trends, Shaneyfelt will cover the move to green textiles and what it really means; latex printing on fabrics; various wall graphics applications; textiles for interior design and backlit; other stretch fabrics; and frame graphics. Samples will be shown and discussed, as well as suggestions and caveats to consider in the production environment.
In addition, Shaneyfelt was a featured speaker at a fabric industry panel that also takes place in SGIA’s Digital Textile Zone this morning.
Fabric revolution
On 5 November Aurora’s Christian Smith will discuss how to Shed the Fear & Join the Fabric Revolution. In this discussion, Smith will review common misconceptions related to printing on textile products.
As the digital printing industry continues to grow at a rapid pace, more and more companies are drifting away from the traditional vinyl or banner applications typically used for POP, event signage and interior décor products, among others.
This presentation looks at these ongoing trends, and reviews the knowledge attendees will need in order to put their company at the forefront of this digital revolution. Smith is Aurora’s South Central Region Print Media Account Manager.
