Klopman International will participate at the A+A trade fair for personal protection equipment, corporate security and health at work, which will be held from 27-30 October in Dusseldorf.
On this occasion the company will present the full range of its new protective wear fabrics with a special focus on the latest products developed by its R&D Team, the new range of inherent flame retardant fabrics K-Flame.
Latest innovation
The manufacturer will also introduce its latest innovation Klopman K-Flame inherent flame retardant fabrics incorporating safety and comfort. K-Flame is an extremely innovative product designed to ensure maximum protection against heat, flame and welding sparks, as well as providing an effective anti-static barrier and electric arc protection.
K-Flame is the result of the extensive research managed by the Klopman Research & Development Department and it represents a major innovation offering a balance of protection, comfort, strength and durability.
The fundamental characteristic of the fabric – its inherent flame-retardant property offering protection against fire within the fibre itself – is said to ensure long-term durability, while the composition of the fabric provides for maximum comfort and breathability even in the hottest environments and climates, the company reports.
High level of protection
The range will be enriched during this event by K-Flame Xtra245 Softshell / Laminate, a product based on aramid is said to offer a high level of protection to the workers.
This fabric is developed with a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane. The combination of K-Flame Xtra245 fabric with the inherent flame retardant fleece and the membrane is said to guarantee a smooth and multi risk protection fabric.
The fabric ensures protection against heat and flame (ISO 11612), electric arc (EN 61482), welding (ISO 11611), antistatic (EN 1149-5), foul weather (EN 343) and chemical splash (EN13034 Type 6). K-Flame Pro320 and Xtra245 Softshell / Laminate became finalists at the prestigious Future Materials Award 2015 respectively in the categories Launch of the Year and Best Innovation.
Latest trends
The company will also present its latest trends in terms of colours, introducing the new cross-dye fabrics, designed specifically for the medical and catering sectors, performing as solid colours and enriching the range for smarter and trendy garment looks.
