A. Monforts Textilmaschinen, a leading dyeing, finishing and compressive shrinking machine manufacturer, has released its new 28-page World of Home Textiles magazine, which is now available on request from [email protected].
The publication highlights the latest solutions for Home Textiles fabrics and production techniques placing special emphasis on textile finishing with the company’s range of Montex stenters.
Heimtextil exhibitors
The magazine illustrates new designs introduced at Heimtextil 2016 exhibition by leading textile companies around the world producing a wide variety of fabrics, styles, and colours, but all finished on Montex finishing ranges. The magazine features companies specialising in bedding, interior design, sustainable laundry, towels, curtains, home furnishings and more, coming from countries like Germany, Turkey, Belgium, Pakistan, Brazil and Italy.
“As was reflected at the highly successful Heimtextil 2016 in Frankfurt, the home textiles market is currently extremely healthy. It is a very important growth engine for those countries to which the textile industry currently contributes significantly to improving living standards,” commented Roland Hampel, Managing Director.
The magazine also includes an on-site, application report on Döhler S.A., Brazil’s leading home furnishing textile producer, following the installation of the company’s first Monforts Montex high tech stenter. According to the company, early results following the installation highlight energy savings of around 18% and increased production as much as 30% with fabric widths of up to 3.20m.
Montex 8500
The publication also features a new Montex 8500, which includes several new features and options, such as an optional integrated support belt for heavy coated fabrics; a newly designed operator’s platform with improved access; enhanced visualisation introducing ‘smartphone’ features; a new stentering chain; and an Eco Booster heat recovery module where an additional Exhaust Air Cleaning device can be added.
A complete new and further enhanced visualisation software Qualitex 800 with ‘finger tip’ control features offers smart phone-type techniques for machine operators. A new maintenance-free Hercules Hybrid stentering chain requires no lubrication and is designed to operate at spreading forces up to 2.500N/m.
Following developments of its integrated heat recovery system, Monforts has introduced the new Eco Booster HRC, which is said to ensure energy savings of up to 35%. An integrated belt support is designed to allow smooth, marking-free fabric travel across the width of the stenter. Designed for special coating processes, technical and nonwoven applications, the Montex 8500 optionally features a thermal splitting system, which allows different finishing temperatures in both the upper and lower nozzle systems.
