TANATEX Chemicals, a leading producer of innovative textile processing solutions, has officially opened its new production plant in Thailand this week.
By building this local facility, the Dutch company endorses its focus on developing the business in Asia.
TANATEX will be able to react more time and cost efficiently to the demands of the textile industry in the region, the company reports.
Achievements and plans
The prominent building offers state of the art technology, including computer controlled production. To strengthen the ambition of being environmentally responsible, part of the facility is on site biological treatment of waste water from the production before disposal.
To show corporate social responsibility, TANATEX has, wherever possible, consciously chosen to hire only Thai personnel. The start-up of production in September is said to have been successful. In time TANATEX has the ambition to scale-up production to at least 20,000 tons per annum.
