The White Sierra Spring 2017 knit tops will include a total of nine Polygiene treated styles in both the Trail and Travel collections. The women’s Trail line includes two styles of tank tops, a short-sleeve tee and a ¾ sleeve tee.

The men’s Trail line options will include a short sleeve tee and a long sleeve quarter zip. In the Travel line, the Polygiene treated garment options include a women’s short sleeve tee, a women’s striped short-sleeve tee and a women’s ¾ sleeve tee.

“We are proud and excited to begin our partnership with White Sierra. It is great to be working with a family-owned company that offers quality outdoor apparel for the entire family,” said Christian von Uthmann, CEO of Polygiene.

Polygiene technology

Polygiene is a recognised provider of its Polygiene Odor Control Technology. The company supplies Stay Fresh solutions for clothing, sports equipment, lifestyle textiles and other materials.

Polygiene prevents the growth of odoгr-causing bacteria and fungi at the source. To do this the company uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimicrobial properties and is naturally present in water and soil, to safely eliminate the ability for bacteria and fungi to grow.

The permanent treatment is applied at the finishing stages of textile production and field and lab tests show a high level of odour control beyond the usual lifespan of a garment. This lifespan odour control is possible as the technology is bound and permanently integrated in the fabric and will not wash out, according to the manufacturer.
