Datacolor, a leader in colour management technology, will be demonstrating its brand new Datacolor SpectraVision for the first time in South America during Febratex 2018, which takes place from 21-24 August in Blumenau Brazil.

“This is a very important event for the textiles industry in the South America market, and we are very excited to reveal our innovative technology,” said Ricardo Lovetro, Managing Director of Datacolor Brazil. “Brands and mills are under a lot of pressure to deliver quality products with shorter lead time. For so many years it felt like a non-stop race, and now finally there is a solution. I strongly believe that Datacolor SpectraVision will become a new standard for the ‘unmeasurables’ and I’m happy to present it to the Brazil market.”

Datacolor SpectraVision has been developed to enable businesses to objectively measure and digitally communicate the colour of previously unmeasurable materials, including multi-colour prints, trim, yarn, zippers and lace, thereby saving costs and significantly shortening the time from concept to consumer. SpectraVision technology captures several colours in one shot, making it possible to measure textures and patterns the same way you measure solid colours.

Datacolor SpectraVision will be available at Febratex, Datacolor booth, together with other solutions designed to reduce colour-related costs and shorten production time throughout the textiles supply chain.

Datacolor, a leader in colour management solutions, provides software, instruments and services to assure accurate colour of materials, products, and images. The company provides sales, service, and support to over 100 countries throughout Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Industries served include textiles and apparel, paint and coatings, automotive and plastics, as well as photography, design and videography.
