The show will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from 16-18 March, where the company will present a variety of Teijin items.
On display
The products will be targeted at Chinese markets for sports and casual fashions and garments made of thin- to medium-thickness fabrics.
Microft, a moisture-permeable, water-repellent fabric produced with functional, high-quality microfibre, will be on display. The exhibit will highlight the laminated version, which is said to combine soft texture with enhanced waterproof properties up to water pressure of 10,000 mm or greater.
The company will also exhibit a large assortment of stretch pants, a strategic category for Nantong Teijin, and highly advanced chemically-recycled polyester fibre. Another highlight is Solotex, a polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre that is highly soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and durable. As Solotex is partially bio-derived, it also helps to conserve fossil resources, the company reports.
