Falke Ergonomic Sport System will expand its product range for the Spring/Summer 2014 season, following its dedication to focus on three fundamental ergonomic pre-requisites;  anatomy, so garments are designed to fit men and women; climate control, to develop rapid moisture management, controlled redrying and optimum thermal insulation; and support, providing  protection for  athletes.

Together with experienced product developers, professional sportsmen and sports  physiologists, the Falke ergonomic Sport System is said to combine the highest quality with superior design and stand for high-tech products in functional sportswear.

Running Air Ventilation

The new ultralight First Layer line Falke Running Air Ventilation is said to be an exclusive innovation in the field of functional underwear. According to the company, it is the first seamless sports underwear with active ventilation in motion and it  is also said to ensure perfect moisture management and ultra fast drying. Knitting Industry believes that the garments are produced using warp knitting seamless technology.

The use of air ventilation technology allows the open-pore structure to adapt in size to body mapping. During activity, the runner’s natural movement expands the open-pores and ensures enhanced air circulation.

Bra-Tops

For the Spring/Summer 2014 Collection, Falke has reworked its bra top concept and in future will offer three products with a simple sizing system tailored to sports. With ready-made sizes (XS – XL) instead of cup sizes, the company believes it will allow retailers consumers to find the right size quicker.

The best bra tops function is achieved by combining circular knitting technology, an innovative mix of materials and novel design.

Running Apparel

Falke uses the latest processing technologies, such as laser holes for ventilation, taped seams for reduced rubbing and weight, and ‘clean cut’ sleeve hems. A highlight of the collection is the soft shell jacket featuring the ventilation air technology.

The company also focuses on lightweight products and moisture management in its shirts and trousers. Amongst other products, the Falke collection includes the first polo shirt tailored to runners’ needs.

Trekking Athletic

Falke’s First Layer line includes Falke Trekking Athletic, year round underwear. Produced using seamless knitting technology and body mapping, this functional underwear is designed with an ideal fit and is said to provide optimum moisture management.

The product features charcoal, an active carbon fibre with bamboo, which, according to the company, offers a natural antibacterial effect, odour control, the fast moisture management, short redrying, soft feel and a temperature regulation.

Ergonomic Sport Socks

To ensure optimum connection between foot and shoe, Falke has developed Ergonomic Sport Socks, tailored to different sports and shoe types.

According to Falke, its TK Energizing Wool are the first trekking compression socks that feature merino wool, offering perfect temperature control and optimum moisture management. The compression that occurs gradually is said to ease venous reflux, delay muscle fatigue and promote regeneration by forcing more oxygen into the muscles.

TK Stabilising compression socks are designed for active ankle stabilisation, helping to prevent sprains. This is achieved through a gradual compression from the metatarsal bone to above the ankle. The compression also ensures that the sock feels like a second skin and that the feet do not swell even on longer hikes or under intense heat.

Falke RU 4 Invisible, the ‘invisible’ running socks, combine the functional aspects of Falke Ergonomic Sport Socks with the fashion standards of the modern runner. The sock is prevented from slipping into the shoe by a piece of rubber in the instep, a flap on the heel with an inside plush cap and a silicone strip around the inside edge. New versions of the Falke TK1, the sock for longer hikes, and the Falke TK2 for relaxed walks, also feature the collection. These versions lend an extra fashionable twist to both products.
