Turkish cotton spinner Hascevher Tekstil now operates more than 100 Truetzschler machines at its two plants in Kahramanmaraş and Nigde, and further expansion is on the cards.

Founded in 2006, the company now employs more than 500 people with annual sales of more than $100 million.

“Our priority is to achieve continuous levels of productivity and quality throughout the life of our machines,” says Buket Celebi, general manager at Hascevher. “This is only possible with great service support which is why we choose to work with our trusted partners at Truetzschler.”

Hascevher’s Kahramanmaraş site operates 8,616 rotor spindles with the capacity to produce 15,000 tons per year of 100% cotton yarn for knitwear and weaving in the range of Ne 6 to Ne 40.

In February 2024 the company invested €50 million to establish a new factory in the Bor district of Nigde, with support from Truetzschler for the design, commissioning and delivery of machinery. This new site makes compact ring yarns in the range of Ne 20 to Ne 60 and has an annual capacity of 15,000 tons.

The company’s customers are mainly manufacturers of ready-made clothing, home textiles and technical textiles, with around 60% of Hascevher’s products exported to markets outside Turkey.

To meet these diverse needs, the company’s new plant operates thirty-six TC 19i cards and thirty TCO 21 combers.

“The TC 19i achieves excellent quality at high production volumes and its design minimises the risk of errors or defects because it offers a range of automated, self-optimising functions,” says Celebi. “With the TCO 21, we’re feeling the advantages of using a next-generation combing machine that stands out with its top quality, low maintenance requirements and easy adjustment.”

Hascevher is already planning another rotor yarn production in the Nigde district which will have the capacity to manufacture 90 tons per day.

“Of course, we want to include Truetzschler technologies in our new facility,” says Celebi. “The company provides great support and machines that enable high levels of quality and productivity. We also want to benefit from Truetzschler’s after-sales service at this site just as we have benefited from it throughout our relationship.

The two companies are engaged in close collaboration to find ways of using more sustainable raw materials and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while also saving energy and water.

“We sell to global markets in a business environment with intense competition which is why we are always seeking innovations that can boost our efficiency or productivity, cut costs or make our products more sustainable,” Celebi concludes. “With Truetzschler by our side, we’re confident about making our customers happy and it’s a pleasure for us to work with the company’s experienced, solution-oriented and fast-responding teams.”
