NanoNet N3 is the latest filter media development being introduced to the market by Ashville, Tennesse-headquartered Atmus Filtration Technologies.
Manufactured in-house, it is characterised by a unique gradient mesh structure for increased particle retention and higher capacity which enables the company to optimise the size of a filter or increase service intervals – or a combination of both. This flexibility offers a customisable filtration solution that meets the unique needs of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their end users.
NanoNet N3 expands on the long-standing, industry leading nanofibre technology of Atmus. It combines microfibres and nanofibres to create a single, fully polymeric web designed to deliver longer lasting, more compact filtration solutions addressing the ever-increasing variety of fuels and contaminants in internal combustion powered equipment.
Fleetguard, the leading product brand of Atmus, will begin offering filters using NanoNet N3 in early 2025.
“Atmus has a 66-year history of designing and manufacturing filtration technologies that meet or exceed customer performance expectations,” said Greg Hoverson, vice president and CTO at Atmus. “NanoNet N3 is our most advanced filter media to date and enables filtration solutions to be fine-tuned to meet each customer’s application, whether for advanced engine protection, custom packaging sizes or specific service life needs.”
