FET strengthens its technical team
New personnel support growth in sales of bespoke meltspinning systems.

Fibre Extrusion Technology (FET) of Leeds, UK, has strengthened its technical team with the appointment of Jonny Hunter as its new research and development manager.
Hunter brings a wealth of academic credentials to the department, with his solid academic background complemented by over ten years of R&D experience in industry, most notably in the wound care and medical devices sector – a significant market for FET’s meltspinning equipment.
Mark Smith, the company’s current R&D Manager, will take a short sabbatical and retirn in a more strategic role as FET’s director of technology.
In addition, FET has appointed Mike Urey as its new sales engineer, bringing wide industrial experience to the role, along with three new mechanical and electronic engineers and an additional designer to move the company forward and sustain growth.
