PlusZero is the new brand name for an extensive portfolio of nonwovens now available from Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V), headquartered in East Walpole, Massachusetts.

All of the products branded PlusZero, including a wide range of filter media, battery separators and other nonwovens based on advanced fibres, are manufactured without using per or polyfluoroalkyl substances – commonly known as PFAS and referred to as ‘forever chemicals’.

“The PlusZero line is not only environmentally sound, but offers high-quality solutions that will help customers meet performance, reliability and affordability goals,” says Mike Clark, H&V’s division president. “After years of research, we have developed a range of zero added PFAS solutions that are not only better for the environment, but smart for business. PlusZero solutions will deliver the same high performance in most applications and largely carry the same price as their legacy counterparts.”
