
Opening of nominations for IDEA Achievement Awards
Key developments over the past three years to be recognised.

Nonwovens association INDA has announced the finalists for the 2025 IDEA Achievement Awards which recognise the most innovative new product introductions in the nonwovens and engineered materials industry since the last IDEA event in 2022.
The awards will be presented during the IDEA 25 exhibition which will take place from April 29-May 1 in Miami Beach, Florida.
Finalists in the Equipment category are Dilo Systems for the development of MicroPunch technology, GDM which has designed a new unit for the production of in-line laminated waistbands, and Oerlikon Neumag for the hycuTEC system.
Long-life product nominees are Egal Pads for Pads on a Roll, Hempitecture for the PlantPanel and Magnera for the Sontara home compostable bag.
Nonwoven product category finalists are Ahlstrom for BioProtect, Innovatec Microfibre Technology for the InnovaWipe water-soluble materials and Periodic Products for its MetalXtract filter media.
In the raw materials category, BASF’s Saviva B 800, OrganoClick’s OC-Biobinder and Woolchemy NZ for neweFibre are highlighted, while Egal Pads on a Roll have also been selected for the short-life product category, alongside Hello Hazel’s High and Dry brief and the Swoobie bra liner.
The three products selected for the Sustainability Advancement Award are Hiro Technologies for MycoDigestible diapers, Kindcloth for Pura Health insect repellent water-dissolvable wipes and OrganoClick for the OC-Biobinder.
The Finalists will be voted on by industry professionals and the winners will be announced live at IDEA 25.
