Italian lifestyle brand Paul& Shark has obtained ISO 14001 certification, an international standard that specifies criterion for an effective environmental management system, with worldwide recognition.

“The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates Paul&Shark’s motivation, credibility and commitment to environmental responsibilities to an industry leader,” the company said in a statement today.

“This certification is a great way to engage employees to work together towards our environmental goals. Increasing the leadership involvement and engagement of all employees ensures that everyone in the organization is aware of the current and potential impact on the environment, and what actions need to be made to achieve them. We hope our efforts will create even more confidence in our partners and will improve our company reputation within the sustainability sector,” added Andrea Dini, CEO, Paul&Shark.

Paul&Shark, an all-Italian lifestyle brand manufactured and distributed by Dama S.p.A., was founded in 1976 by businessmen who had been involved in the fashion industry since 1921. The brand, whose shark logo is recognised around the globe, creates not only men's, women's and children's clothing, but also introduces various capsule collections inspired by the world of seafaring and adventuring.

Available in 73 countries and with over 209 of its own stores, Paul&Shark has a presence on the most prestigious shopping streets in the world, from Via Montenapoleone in Milan to Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré in Paris, Regent Street in London, Madison Avenue in New York and Nanjing Road in Shanghai.
