Some of the events running during the show include:

Micro-Factories

To best demonstrate the newest innovations in the world of textile production, micro-factories will be the focal subject at the coming Texprocess. Texprocess 2019 features five micro-factories: Digital Textiles, Smart Textiles, World of Digital Fashion, Production on demand and Modern innovative seat design.

Texprocess Innovation Award 2019

The Texprocess Innovation Award reflects the innovative content of the Texprocess trade fair as well as the future-oriented products of the exhibitors. It honours cutting-edge developments that foster new and unconventional ideas and visions and supports cross-industry dialog among researchers, manufacturers and users. The Texprocess Innovation Award is presented for outstanding developments, technologies and methods of processing textiles and other flexible materials.

Texprocess Forum

The Texprocess Forum in Hall 4.1 on every day of the fair will be featuring talks by experts on current topics in the industry. Once again, the Forum will be organised in collaboration with the Textile-Clothing Dialogue (Dialog Textil-Bekleidung (DTB)), the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the World Textile Information Network (WTiN). In addition, the Texprocess Forum will offer a thematic block exclusively around the theme of sustainability in the textile and fashion industry, with an offshoot of Fashionsustain, Messe Frankfurt’s conference about sustainable textile innovations.

Trade visitors and exhibitors at Texprocess also benefit from the supporting programme at Techtextil, which takes place at the same time. This will include exciting events and forums such as Urban Living – City of the Future, and exhibition space dedicated to life in the city of the future and the coveted Student Competition for Textile Architecture.
