The company’s Smacsonic skin damping system is already widely employed by aerospace OEMs, for example in the carbon composite fuselages of Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 planes.

The company’s new Smacwrap, however, is a specifically-formulated 0.2mm thick viscoelastic layer that can be directly inserted during the composite lay-up process, delivered directly to the composite manufacturer in 60mm and 600mm wide rolls.
