Groz-Beckert, a leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts and fine tools, will present its latest solutions at the Domotex 2016, the leading trade show for floor coverings that will take place from 16-19 January 2016, in Hanover, Germany.
Groz-Beckert has developed a solution for the processing of soft fibre yarns with extremely fine filaments/low DPF (denier per filament): the new Cut Pile Looper with LoopControl. Visitors to the trade fair will have an opportunity to learn more about the product and its characteristics.
Tufting industry
Tufted carpets with silky smooth surfaces are placing new and higher demands on the cutting behaviour of tufting tools, the company reports.
With conventional tufting tools there is a danger that the loop is pushed from the cutting area by the blade, and that cutting does not take place in one operation. The result would be an uneven carpet surface.
The company’s innovations are said to provide the reliable functioning of loop pile loopers and cut pile loopers. The geometries of Groz-Beckert loopers are optimally adapted to the relevant applications. The consistent and precise quality of single loopers and looper modules is said to guarantee an uninterrupted and efficient production.
