Textils Mora has partnered with Valencian sportswear company Lurbel in a home textiles venture to produce a range of innovative pillow cases which use high performance technologies from the sports sector.
The partnership was developed through the Mora Technical Fabrics and Lurbel Technology divisions, who are responsible for developing innovative products in their own fields. Victor Cerdà, the ultra long distance runner of the Lurbel team, will be the face of the joint project.
High quality
There are three models of pillowcase, Fir-Tech, Fresh-Tech and Soft-Tech and in all three, the fabric is said to improve ergonomics and enhance the virtues of a good visco-elastic pillow. In all three cases, the pillowcases that Textils Mora offers are made of high quality fabrics.
Fir-Tech
The technology that Lurbel uses in its compression clothing range is designed to offer high performance rest that is claimed to be unique in the market. According to the sportswear company, fabrics have notable anti- bacterial capacity due to its bamboo fibre, and its mineral particles reflect the infrared rays emitted naturally by the body, optimising temperature and breathability in the neck area to improve the user’s rest.
The product is said to help eliminate toxins by improving lymphatic circulation. The Textils Mora anti bacteria fabric also enhances muscular relaxation and increases the metabolism between blood and tissue, the company claims.
Fresh-Tech
Additive technology with mineral particles in Lurbel’s range of technical clothing is designed for sports with high perspiration, featuring unprecedented removal of humidity and perspiration that increases the feeling of comfort and hygiene after repeated use, improving sleep on the hottest nights, the company reports.
Fresh-Tech, the second model, is also said to be very agreeable to the touch and also includes mineral particles, which cool the neck area to allow breathing and the removal of humidity. These effects are achieved thanks to a network of channels within the structure of the yarn.
Soft-Tech
The multi-filament technology in the structure of Lurbel clothing gives this range optimal ergonomics and softness, enhancing the performance of its visco-elastic core, the company reports.
The third fabric from Textils Mora, Soft-Tech, has an ergonomic design that delimits the area of rest, provided by multi-filament yarns.
Testing
The products are subjected to exhaustive testing by leading sports figures who assess both the quality of their rest and other, more subjective, feelings produced by the products.
These are sportsmen and women who need to optimise their rest periods due to their intensive physical activity. Having tested the high performance of Lurbel technologies in the sports sector, they therefore continue to confide in this project as a guarantee of success for their sleeping hours, Textils Mora concludes.
