Haymo Strubel
Prior to joining Polygiene, Strubel headed the corporate apparel division at Sympatex Technologies GmbH, where he was in charge of building the brand and managing the global business activities of the company’s high-tech functional textiles within the fashion, sports and outdoor industry.
Before that, he has worked as key account manager for Europe at the YKK Group, the largest manufacturer of high-tech zippers in the world, where he focused on building and developing the European customer base.
“Polygiene has been on my radar for years as I have watched the company’s rapid expansion as it successfully has established itself as a trustworthy partner to the apparel industry,” said Strubel. “I am thrilled to now be able to do my part in developing the brand further by solidifying relationships with our partners in Europe and contributing to a profitable, sustainable growth.”
Polygiene
Polygiene, based in Malmö, Sweden, is a global leader in odour control technology, and has enjoyed significant sales growth every year since its establishment in 2006.
Polygiene odour control technology was originally developed for the treatment of plastic materials and industrial flooring, but today most of the company's customers are premium clothing brands. The technology is especially popular among sports and outdoor clothing brands, and has been used by key players such as Adidas, Athleta, Millet, Patagonia and Vaude.
