Stöhr, the company’s brand specialised in technical yarn solutions, will be presented together with Südwolle Group’s sister company Tenowo (Hoftex Group). Stöhr produces yarns for the automotive sector, aircraft seating, personal protective clothing/PPE, as well as for home textiles and technical applications, such as billiard tables or paint rollers.
“The exceptional thing about Stöhr yarns is that we don’t work with a fixed collection. We really get involved with our customers and try to understand their specific needs. Together we develop customised yarns that perfectly match our client’s requirements,” said Bettina Christensen, Brand Director Stöhr at Südwolle Group.
Südwolle Group delivers worsted wool and wool blend yarns alongside specialist service for weaving, flat knitting, circular knitting, hosiery and technical textiles. Produced in Europe and in Asia with a focus on sustainability, and delivered globally from Germany, Italy, China and the USA, Südwolle Group has both wide range of stock service dyed yarns and an expert custom development service.
The spinner recently expanded its product range through the acquisition of worsted spinner Safil S.p.A and high-end, fancy yarn manufacturers GTI and HF Filati.
