The first set of eagerly anticipated ISPO Award 2022 winners comprises some of the most interesting emerging brands in the performance and outdoor apparel and footwear markets—in addition to some more widely recognised pioneers in this field—and includes the Storm Shift Jacket from Patagonia, the Cloudmonster performance running shoe from On, the Zero Jacket, also from On, the Winqs Zerofly performance running shoe from Winqs, the Pusu Loska Spinnova ski from Pusu, Wax Weave fabric from Jack Wolfskin, and a base layer made from yarns produced using Nuyarn spinning technology from Odlo.

The winning brands have developed innovations which are in line with general trends in the outdoor industry for products which are lighter, more functional and more durable than their predecessors. Also, there is a move towards rewarding brands which employ raw materials and manufacturing practices that are environmentally sustainable.
