To help with the significant shortage of face masks the health care industry is facing, Pindler, an industry leader and international wholesaler of decorative fabrics, says it has “reallocated its team of seamstresses to participate in the #millionmaskchallenge”.

The #millionmaskchallenge is a community movement to aid doctors, nurses and health care professionals in the fight against Covid-19 by making homemade masks. Working closely with local hospitals and nursing homes, Pindler has begun creating durable, high-quality masks made from the company’s fabric.

“We are tremendously grateful for the health care professionals who are working fearlessly to save lives during these challenging times,” said Pindler President Sean Quinn. “This project is our way of showing our appreciation for them and doing our part to make a difference. We are all in this together, and we are trying to help in every way we can.”

In addition to sewing masks, Pindler continues to safely serve the design community. The company’s executive team, customer service department, showroom managers and sales representatives are observing social distancing while working remotely with full access to email, video conferencing, phones and product images to assist with projects.
