Algeria-based Sinaatec, a major new player in the nonwovens industry, has been supplied with A.Celli E-Wind and R-Way end-of-line solutions for its two new Reifenhäuser Reicofil meltblown and composite bico RF5 lines.

The two 3.2-metre wide-lines, installed at Sinaatec’s Algiers plant, will boost the development of the medical and hygiene sectors in the North and Central African markets.

The A.Celli delivery for the RF5 composite bico line includes an E-Wind AC Zero master roll winder, a fully automatic Combi master roll handling system and two E-Wind Super Sonic units, both equipped with Slittomatic automatic knives positioning and the Corematic system for automatic shaft handling and core cutting.

The meltblown line, which includes an E-Wind Stream In-Line slitting winder, has already been operational since October 2022.

“It was a pleasure to work on this major project with A. Celli and Reicofil,” said Sinaatec CEO Mohamed Lamine Boucelouche, after a recent visit to A.Celli’s headquarters in Italy to inspect the winding, slitting and packaging equipment before the delivery.
