UK based Carrington Textiles has announced the appointment of a new Business Development Manager for its Pincroft dyeing and printing business. “We are proud to announce Rob Shearman as the new Business Development Manager for Pincroft who will oversee our sales activities and continue to drive the business forward,” the company said in a statement today.
“With a professional diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a great deal of experience in performance textiles including warp knitting and narrow weaving, Rob has successfully delivered sales growth and product innovation in previous roles.
Rob’s main priority will be maximising the opportunities for Pincroft’s commission partners and continue strengthening relationships with existing customers to ensure the delivery of the highest level of service.”
Commenting on joining the company, Rob said: “Pincroft has an excellent reputation and many of the world’s largest protective clothing manufactures rely on the excellent textile processing that the company delivers.”
He adds: “Joining Pincroft during these uncertain times is a testament to the company’s strength and position in the market. I’m excited to join a textile manufacturer who have been working tirelessly to support the NHS and other key workers with protective workwear during this pandemic.”
Father of one and a keen golfer, Rob has run the Nottingham Marathon and was planning to do it again this year before the event got cancelled due to coronavirus.
