Ahlstrom announces price increases for advanced filtration materials
The price increases are expected to affect all advanced filtration products worldwide, the manufacturer reports.

Ahlstrom, a leading high performance fibre based materials company, has announced price increases on its air and liquid filter media produced by the Advanced Filtration business area.
The price increases will be made to compensate for the continued high level of raw material costs, utilities related inflation and regional currency impacts.
Effect
The price increases are expected to affect all advanced filtration products worldwide and will be effective starting from 1 November this year. The increases will be up to 10% depending on markets, products and the agreements in place.
Air and liquid filter media manufactured by the Advanced Filtration business area is used in air applications including high efficiency air, gas turbine, and industrial air as well as liquid applications for laboratory and life sciences, water treatment, and various process industries. Ahlstrom's Advanced Filtration business area has production sites in six countries.
