Autoneum names new Head of Business Group North America

Leader in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles, has announced a new Head of Business Group North America and member of the Group Executive Board.

The Board of Directors of Autoneum, a leader in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles, has announced Greg Sibley as the new Head of Business Group North America and member of the Group Executive Board. He takes over from Fausto Bigi, Head of Business Group SAMEA (South America, Middle East and Africa), who has served as interim Head of Business Group North America since the beginning of the year.

Mr Sibley will start on 15 May 2019 as Deputy Head of Business Group North America and will assume responsibility for this Business Group from Fausto Bigi after a transition period on 1 July.

Apart from an intermediate period, Greg Sibley worked for the US automotive supplier Tenneco from 1997 to 2015, where he held various management positions, among others as Vice President for the North American region of the Clean Air division and for Operations in Europe.

From 2016 to 2018, he was President of the business unit Americas at automotive supplier Eberspaecher. Sibley has excellent knowledge of the US automotive market and comprehensive expertise in the areas of production, development and sales at leading automotive suppliers. He holds an MBA in Operations Management and Finance from the University of Michigan and completed his engineering studies at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

Autoneum is leading in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles. The company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight components and systems for interior floor and engine bay, as well as the underbody. Customers include almost all automobile manufacturers in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. Autoneum operates 55 production facilities and employs around 13,000 people in 25 countries.
